At Tapwood Lake
We are a private club offering our members access to a 20 acre lake set within a 40 acre site with a maximum depth of 34m making it ideal for diving and training.
The lake is a former flooded silica sand quarry which allows for good visibility (10-15mtrs) and is relatively bright even at depth.
Our Goals
- Conserving and enhancing the natural environment.
- Develop the lake slowly and organically.
- Nature friendly, both above and below the water.
- Restricting diver numbers so as to increase diver safety and to minimise environmental impact.
- Engaging with our members for future developments at the lake.
- To be friendly, helpful and approachable.
Members Only
Membership
Membership will be available to dive centres, schools, clubs and instructors. Individual membership not available at the moment.

Benefits will depend on the type and level of membership and will include discounts, advance booking and reserved parking.
